Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bexley
Salary: £26,803 to £27,597 pro rata 21 hours per week
Contract: Term Time Only, Temp role
Our client, a well-established educational organisation, is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their team. This rewarding role involves supporting young people and adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities
* Support learners in educational, social, and personal development activities

* Provide personal care and mobility support where required
* Help identify and overcome barriers to learning and participation
* Support learners to access all available college services and activities
* Assist with maintaining safe learning environments and equipment
* Monitor and report on learner progress and wellbeing
* Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies where appropriate
* Attend meetings and training sessions as required
About You
* Good standard of general education
* Level 2 Maths and English, or willingness to achieve these qualifications
* Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices
* Experience supporting individuals with additional needs, or a willingness to learn
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good IT skills
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to work
* Commitment to equality, diversity, and continuous professional development
Previous experience supporting learners with SEN within a school, college, or similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
A current and valid ENHANCED DBS is required for this role.
