Document Controller - Long Term / Permanent Opportunity
I am currently working with a leading contractor that has a substantial portfolio of upcoming projects and is looking to recruit a Document Controller to join their project team and provide document control support across a range of new schemes.
This is a long-term opportunity, and candidates can be considered on either a self-employed basis, paid directly by the contractor, or as a permanent employee.
Salary / Rate:
£16 - £20ph (self-employed)
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum (permanent)This is a full-time, site-based role, working 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Initially, you may be required to support and manage document control across multiple sites simultaneously, before taking the lead on a large flagship project once it commences.
The role will be based in Central London, with excellent access to a range of Underground and Overground stations.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
Experience using electronic document management systems (EDMS), such as Asite, Aconex, Procore, or similar platforms.
Experience working for a contractor or construction-related business is essential.
Candidates with both site-based and head office document control experience will be considered.Additional Responsibilities
Whilst this is primarily a document control position, there may be occasions where you are required to provide wider administrative support to the project team. This may include:
Processing timesheets
Raising and updating purchase orders
Ordering stationery and site equipment
Providing general administrative assistance to the project team as requiredAs such, a flexible, proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team are essential.
Interviews will take place face to face w/c 20th July, with a start data ASAP after that.
