Our client, a leading manufacturer based in South Oxfordshire, is looking for an organised and proactive Health & Safety Administrator to join their Quality team.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting Health & Safety, Quality and Facilities across the business. You'll play a key part in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records and driving continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
. Maintain Health & Safety records, compliance registers, planners and documentation.
. Coordinate inspections, servicing schedules, audits and statutory compliance activities.
. Support the preparation and maintenance of risk assessments, COSHH assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work.
. Arrange contractor visits, issue permits to work and maintain contractor compliance documentation.
. Assist with Health & Safety training, toolbox talks and workplace inspections.
. Produce reports, meeting minutes and Quality, Health, Safety and Facilities (QHSF) documentation.
. Support ISO 9001 quality management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
. Previous experience in a Health & Safety, QHSE or Compliance Administration role.
. Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
. A good understanding of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and current Health & Safety legislation.
. IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or higher), or an equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
. Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and SharePoint.
. Excellent communication and organisational skills with the confidence to work across different departments.
