We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Improver to join a well-established and growing electrical services company. Due to continued expansion and increased customer demand, our client is looking to add a skilled Electrical Improver to their engineering team.

Electrical Improver – Role & Responsibilities

• Assisting with electrical installation, maintenance and repair works
• Carrying out basic electrical tasks under the guidance of experienced engineers
• Supporting engineers with testing, fault finding and remedial works
• Installing electrical equipment, containment, cabling and accessories
• Completing basic electrical inspections and checks
• Working across commercial sites and customer locations
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Maintaining excellent communication with customers and internal teams
• Completing job reports and documentation accurately
• Supporting the wider engineering team when required

Electrical Improver – Skills & Experience Required

• Basic electrical qualifications required (e.g. Level 2/Level 3 Electrical qualification, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within an electrical environment
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, installations and regulations
• Keen to develop skills and progress within the electrical industry
• Good fault-finding ability and practical approach to problem solving
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• ECS card desirable
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
