Residential Support Worker – Children’s Services Job in Winnersh, Berkshire (RG41)

Your role

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will provide day to day care, emotional support, and positive role modelling within a residential care setting.

Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people.

Support daily routines, education, and independence.

Help young people manage emotions and behaviours safely.

Provide a calm and reliable presence during both positive and challenging situations.

Work closely with the wider care team to deliver consistent, high quality care.

What we are looking for

At least six months of paid care experience within the last three years.

At least three months’ experience supporting children or young people, ideally within a regulated environment.

The right to work in the UK.

Being a driver and/or having regular access to a vehicle is advantageous as some clients are in remote places away from public transport.
