Housing Needs Team Manager – Local Authority - London

£270 per day (negotiable depending on experience)

Hybrid working available

3 months initial contract – likely to be extended

Job Responsibilities:

* As a Housing Needs Team Manager, you will lead and motivate a team responsible for preventing homelessness, assessing housing needs, and delivering high-quality services that make a real difference to residents' lives.

* Working closely with internal teams, partner organisations, and external agencies, you'll ensure services are delivered efficiently, statutory duties are met, and customers receive the support they need at the right time.

* You'll also play a vital role in implementing and delivering responsibilities under the Renters Rights Act, ensuring effective enforcement and compliance while helping to improve outcomes for private renters across the borough.

You must have:

* Significant experience managing homelessness, housing needs, or housing options services.

* Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing law, and the Renters Rights Act.
