The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Conveyancing Solicitors, assisting with a varied caseload of residential property matters. As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will be given the opportunity to take on your own conveyancing caseload under supervision, making this an ideal role for someone looking to progress their legal career.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting Fee Earners with a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Opening and closing client files and ensuring all compliance procedures are completed.
Carrying out Land Registry applications, property searches and SDLT submissions.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors throughout the conveyancing process.
Providing regular updates to clients and third parties.
Supporting the wider Conveyancing team with administrative and legal tasks as required.
About You
Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal is essential.
A good understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach.
Ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using legal case management systems.
