We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join friendly and supportive nursery teams across Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant childcare qualification and have a genuine passion for supporting children to learn, develop and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Providing outstanding care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Planning and delivering engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
Observing, assessing and recording children's progress.
Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Acting as a key person for a group of children.
Promoting children's wellbeing, safety and individual needs.
Ensuring safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Supporting the nursery's vision, values and commitment to excellence.
Essential Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent recognised childcare qualification).
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
Previous experience working in an early years setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, enthusiastic and professional approach.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
