Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Days Only (Mon-Fri), Excellent training, secure employment, overtime available

Are you a confident Maintenance Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias? Join a long‑established, growing manufacturer where your skills will be valued, your development supported, and your work-life balance protected. This is a days‑only role with no nights, optional overtime, and a strong package of benefits.

The Role

You'll be part of a skilled engineering team responsible for keeping a wide range of automated production equipment running smoothly. Your work will include:

Planned & preventative maintenance across automated machinery
Mechanical & electrical breakdown response, fault finding and repair
Upgrades & installation of new manufacturing equipment
Working with PLC systems to diagnose faults
Fault finding on wiring, control panels and 3‑phase motors
Reporting issues to the Plant Manager and supporting continuous improvement
Manufacturing jigs, fixtures and test equipment using drills, grinders and lathes
Maintaining conveyors, gears, rollers and motors
Installation and maintenance of ducting and pipework
Setting, operating and maintaining process control checks on production equipment

The Person

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a relevant engineering qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3)
Has strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
Is confident fault‑finding on automated equipment and PLCs
Enjoys learning and is keen to undertake additional training
Works pro actively and takes pride in improving equipment uptime
