Our client, a well-established and growing business within the waste management industry in Epping, is looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment & Human Resources Manager to lead their HR function from their Epping office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a hands-on, generalist role while partnering closely with senior management to drive the company's people strategy.
The Role
Reporting directly to the senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring the business operates in line with current employment legislation while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
* Lead recruitment campaigns and support hiring managers with talent acquisition.
* Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment law.
* Maintain employee records and HR management systems.
* Monitor attendance, sickness absence and employee performance.
* Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* Lead performance appraisal processes across the business.
* Design and deliver employee training and development initiatives.
* Review remuneration and reward strategies.
* Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees.
* Work closely with senior leadership to support business objectives and continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a generalist HR Management position.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum.
* Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
* Experience managing recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A proactive, professional and confidential approach.
* Experience working within a fast-paced operational or industrial environment is advantageous.
* NEBOSH qualification is desirable.

Salary of £50,000 per annum
Monday to Friday working hours (08:30 – 17:30)
