SEN Teaching Assistant - B92, Solihull | Full-Time
Josh from Prospero Teaching Group is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the B92 area of Solihull.
This is a full-time position (5 days per week), supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD). You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals within a nurturing and supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-to-one and small group support tailored to each pupil's needs.
Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning where required.
Supporting pupils' communication, social, and emotional development.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team.
Encouraging independence while ensuring pupils feel safe, valued, and supported.
Undergoing a child and adult DBS
Must be flexible on year groupsThe ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children with additional needs. Previous experience supporting pupils with SLD or other complex needs is desirable but not essential.
