Job Details
We are seeking a patient and experienced Tutor to support a Year 10 student with ASD on a 1:1 basis in the DT6 area.
This role will involve delivering personalised support to help the student engage with learning in a way that suits their individual needs, building confidence and promoting positive educational outcomes.
Location: DT6
Hours: Initially 5 hours per week, increasing to up to 10 hours per week
Days: Tuesday and Thursday
Start Date: ASAP
Type: 1:1 TutoringThis is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who enjoys working closely with students and adapting their approach to meet individual learning needs.
Requirements
Experience working with students with ASD
Ability to build positive relationships and engage learners on a 1:1 basis
Patient, flexible, and supportive approach
Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or SEN support
Strong communication skills
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
