SEN Teacher Alternative Provision | Kings Heath, Birmingham | Full-Time

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join an alternative provision in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham.

This is a full-time role (5 days per week), working with pupils who have a range of additional needs and may display challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will be confident in managing behaviour effectively while building positive relationships that support pupil's learning and development.

You will be expected to:

Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Follow the school's behaviour management procedures, including its warning and sanctions policy.
Promote positive behaviour through consistent use of praise and reward systems.
Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN and be calm, patient, and committed to helping young people succeed despite the challenges they may face.
