Pulse Bodyworks Ltd in Beckton E6 is a busy, insurance-approved accident repair centre carrying out high-quality repairs for insurers, fleet companies and private customers.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) / Estimator to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator or someone from within the accident repair industry looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
You'll be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, producing accurate repair estimates and managing repairs through to completion.
You'll work closely with insurers, technicians, parts suppliers and customers to ensure repairs are authorised quickly and completed efficiently.
This is a fast-paced role where accuracy, communication and organisation are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
* Produce estimates using Audatex and GT Motive.
* Liaise with insurance engineers and accident management companies.
* Identify repair methods in line with manufacturer repair standards.
* Order and authorise parts where required.
* Monitor repair progress and update estimates as repairs develop.
* Communicate with customers regarding repair progress and additional work.
* Ensure estimates maximise repair opportunities while remaining compliant.
* Work closely with the workshop to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
* Maintain excellent customer service throughout the repair journey.
Essential Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
* Minimum 5 years' experience within the accident repair or automotive industry.
* Previous experience using Audatex and/or GT Motive.
* Excellent understanding of vehicle construction and repair methods.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise workload within a busy bodyshop.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
