Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 support role within a welcoming and supportive primary school?
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a lovely primary school in Hampstead that is looking to appoint a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a caring school community where staff are highly valued and teamwork is at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the child's learning, wellbeing, and personal development throughout the school day.
The Role:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
Supporting the child's learning, emotional regulation and social development.
Assisting with personal care when required in a respectful and dignified manner.
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff to implement strategies and interventions.
Creating a nurturing, positive and engaging learning environment where the pupil can thrive.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting.
Confidence providing personal care as part of the role.
A calm, patient and personable approach with the ability to build strong relationships.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.The School Offers:
