Make a Real Difference Every Day – 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Not every classroom role is about standing at the front of the class. Sometimes, the biggest impact comes from supporting one child to believe in themselves.

A welcoming primary school in Salford is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs on a full-time, long-term basis from September.

This role is ideal if you're patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting one pupil throughout the school day.
Helping them access learning and stay engaged in lessons.
Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO.
Building a positive, trusting relationship that helps the child succeed academically and socially.
Encouraging confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

We'd love to hear from you if you have experience as a:

Teaching Assistant
Behaviour Mentor
Learning Support Assistant
Youth Worker
Support Worker
Sports Coach
Psychology Graduate
SEN Support Worker

What you'll receive:

✔ Full-time, long-term opportunity
✔ Competitive daily pay
✔ September start
✔ Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement
✔ Opportunity to gain valuable SEN experience in a supportive primary school

If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely change a child's school experience, we'd love to hear from you.
