ur client, who are a global manufacturing firm, are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to design, develop and deliver cutting-edge control systems for a wide range of equipment – from manufacturing and assembly machines to robot cells and beyond.

What you’ll be doing:

* Designing controls for state-of-the-art automation equipment.

* Producing electrical drawings, parts lists, safety assessments and documentation.

* Developing PLC software, HMIs, vision systems, servo drives and more.

* Leading commissioning activities – including safety checks, I/O testing, function validation and performance optimisation.

* Supporting projects to ensure production and operational goals are achieved on time and within budget.

* Generating innovative control concepts and specifications for new and existing equipment.

* Providing technical expertise on machine design, costing and safety compliance.

What we’re looking for:

* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering – or equivalent hands-on experience.

* Strong PLC programming and systems integration skills.

* Organised, motivated and able to work independently.

* A problem-solver with a ‘can do’ attitude and excellent communication skills.

* Commitment to safety, sustainability and best engineering practices.
