Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking to join a well-established and highly regarded children's residential care provider?

We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in a 3-bed EBD children's home rated Good by Ofsted. You'll be joining an established organisation operating four children's homes, with several services achieving Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home operates to the highest standards, delivering safe, nurturing, and child-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the day-to-day management of the home.

* Leading and supervising the staff team to deliver outstanding care.

* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation and Children's Homes Regulations.

* Promoting positive outcomes and helping young people reach their full potential.

* Supporting care planning, risk assessments and placement reviews.

* Building strong relationships with young people, families and external professionals.

* Monitoring quality standards and driving continuous improvement.

* Deputising for the Registered Manager in their absence.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a children's residential home.

* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).

* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations and children's residential legislation.

* Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

* A passion for improving the lives of children and young people.

* Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Salary & Benefits

* £38,700 – £39,900 per annum

* £50 per sleep-in (approximately one sleep-in per week)

* £50 Birthday Bonus

* Annual Loyalty Bonus:

* Year 1 – £100

* Year 2 – £200

* Year 3 onwards – £300 (paid annually and capped at £300)

* £150 Refer-a-Friend Bonus (paid once your referral successfully completes probation)

* Time and a half for working Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day

* Ofsted Performance Bonus

* Ongoing training and professional development
