The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with local primary schools in the Southport area (LPR9), and we are currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support across a range of settings starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience, build confidence in the classroom, or secure flexible work within supportive school environments.
The Role of a Primary Teaching Assistant:
Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils
Assisting with learning, behaviour management, and engagement
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
✅ Requirements:
Experience working with children ideally in a Teaching Assistant role (school-based or similar)
A passion for supporting young learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
