A Service Engineer opportunity has become available with an established manufacturer supplying specialist thermal management systems across a range of growing industries. As the business continues to expand its UK operations, this position offers premium overtime, paid commute time, a company van and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
Covering customer sites across the West London area, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your mechanical and electrical skillset whilst working within an ever-growing industry.
Service Engineer responsibilities include -
Installing mechanical and electrical components across customer sites.
Carrying out planned component changeovers to minimise customer downtime.
Following technical drawings, instructions and engineering procedures.
Completing installation and commissioning activities to the required quality standards.
Maintaining high health and safety standards whilst working on customer premises.Service Engineer desirable skills and education -
Experience in a similar role - MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician, Service Engineer or within a similar hands-on engineering environment.
Time served, or Mechanical / Electrical educated (IMI, FGAS, BTEC, HNC or degree desirable).
Basic hands-on experience with mechanical assembly (study, home projects or work-based).
Experience working within automotive, commercial vehicle, HVAC, refrigeration, manufacturing or field service environments would be advantageous.
Ability to follow technical drawings, instructions and assembly procedures.Service Engineer benefits include -

Readily available premium overtime @ 1.5 - 2.0.
Paid commute time.
