Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a well-established Manufacturing organisation based in Runcorn on a permanent basis.
Our client is looking for a confident, capable and proactive Quality Engineer with a manufacturing background who can quickly become an effective member of their well-established, welcoming team. Working independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision leading the quality function for the Runcorn site.
Salary: Competitive package based on experience, including 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pension and more.
Location: The ideal candidate will be located in Runcorn or surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and maintain the Integrated Management System.
Support issue resolution by identifying risks, following up on corrective actions, and escalating quality or compliance concerns.
Support supplier quality and quality systems, carrying out risk assessments and maintaining systems such as SAP QM and document management.
Work with cross-functional teams to improve quality and compliance across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service and HSE.
Lead customer complaint investigations, non-conformities and root cause analysis to prevent repeat issues.
Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 alignment across the business.
Your Background:
Degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in an industrial quality environment.
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in quality management, quality engineering, or related industrial quality roles within a manufacturing setting.
Practical experience with ISO 9001.
Strong ownership, accountability, follow-through, and attention to detail.
