We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Procurement & Warehousing Assistant to join a growing and dynamic organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative, purchasing, and inventory management skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with sourcing goods and obtaining supplier quotations.
* Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation.
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock.
* Organise and maintain warehouse storage areas to support efficient stock control.
* Carry out regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
* Prepare and issue materials to support operational requirements.
* Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and warehouse best practices.
* Provide general administrative support for procurement and warehouse operations.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in procurement, purchasing, stores, warehousing, or inventory control.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience with inventory management or ERP systems (advantageous).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A valid forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
