HGV Technician

We are representing a well-established commercial vehicle dealer group in Inverness, Highland, seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician for their busy dealership. Conduct major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles
Undertake regular inspections and preventive maintenance services
Maintain workshop inventory and ensure cleanliness standards are met
Assist diagnosis and plan repairs in collaboration with repair teams
Complete and maintain accurate repair and service records
Process warranties and escalate claims when necessary as a HGV Technician
Perform wheel alignment and tyre fitting tasks
Complete all relevant documentation efficiently within set timeframes
Work proactively to meet the needs of customers and the businessRequirements of a HGV Technician:

Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
At least 1 to 2 years of practical post-qualification experience
Strong commitment to producing high-quality work in a busy environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good organisational skills and a proactive approach
Motivated to meet team targets and achieve excellence
