Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Stansted, UK
Salary: £40,000
Our client are seeking a dynamic IT Support Engineer to join there small but dedicated IT team. This is a varied role covering all levels of support — from day-to-day desktop troubleshooting to server administration and cloud technologies. You’ll play a key part in keeping our business-critical systems running across multiple sites, so flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset are essential.
This position will involve occasional travel between there UK sites and participation in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support for key systems.
* Provide 1st–3rd line support for users across Storm Aviation’s UK sites.
* Manage and maintain Windows desktop and server environments.
* Support and administer webservers, Azure services, Intune, and develop Power Automate workflows.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
* Assist with system migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects.
* Develop and maintain automated workflows to streamline business processes.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
* Proven experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server platforms.
* Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Intune, and modern cloud services.
* Experience with webserver management (IIS or similar).
* Familiarity with Power Automate (or other workflow automation tools).
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to support staff at all levels.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to Storm Aviation’s UK sites.
* A flexible, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
Desirable Certifications
* Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
* ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent knowledge of IT service management)
