Lead Engineer
Belgravia
£50,000 - £55,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Lead Engineer (Either Electrically or Mechanically qualified) to work on a prestigious High-End Residential site based in Belgravia.
In this position, you will be leading a team of 4 engineers and be working a 50/50 split on/off the tools.
Lead Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
Perform electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
Carry out emergency lighting tests and maintenance
Monitor and operate BMS systems
Maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors
Ensure water treatment checks and compliance tasks are completed
Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out safely and to standard
Maintain accurate site logbooks and reports
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and occupants
Support and oversee on-site engineers to ensure smooth building operation Lead Engineer Requirements:
City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations or Mechanically qualified
Electrically biased with strong commercial building maintenance experience
Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Good client-facing and communication skills
Apprenticeship trained (desirable) Lead Engineer Salary & Benefits:
£50,000 - £55,000
Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Up to 25 days annual leave
