Location: Basingstoke
Reports To: Production Lead
Salary: £14.20-£16.19ph (28-32k)
Fantastic Benefits Package if permanent

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced PCB Inspector to join our team in a modern, clean manufacturing environment. This role focuses on inspecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet stringent quality standards for customers across commercial, space, defence, transport, audio, motorsport, and instrumentation sectors.

Key Responsibilities of the PCB Inspector:

Perform visual and automated inspections of PCBs and electronic assemblies
Use AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and manual tools to identify defects
Verify component placement, soldering quality, and overall build integrity
Document inspection results and report non-conformances
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues
Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration standards are met

What We’re Looking For in the PCB Inspector:

3–5 years of experience in PCB inspection or electronics manufacturing
Strong understanding of IPC-A-610 standards
Experience with AOI systems and manual inspection techniques
Background in SMT, aerospace, automotive, or electronics
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to read technical drawings and BOMs
Familiarity with ISO standards or Six Sigma principles is a plus
