About the Company
Our client is a well-established reinforced concrete frame contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use and infrastructure projects throughout London and the South East. With a strong track record of delivering technically challenging reinforced concrete structures, they have built long-standing relationships with many of the UK's leading developers and main contractors.
Operating across a range of prestigious projects, they specialise in reinforced concrete frames, basement construction, slipform, core structures and associated concrete works, delivering projects typically ranging from £5 million to £20 million.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects across London, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team by appointing an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of multiple live projects.
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support across a number of reinforced concrete frame projects throughout London.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of packages ranging from £5 million to £20 million, working closely with site and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
About the Requirements
* Previous experience working for an RC Frame, Groundworks or Civil Engineering contractor is essential
* Strong understanding of commercial management on reinforced concrete frame projects
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Minimum 4 years' experience within a Quantity Surveying position
* Excellent commercial awareness together with strong communication and negotiation skills
