Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our client's Bakery team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of food products, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in food production, with the potential for career growth within our client's organisation.

Working: Monday to Friday 2.30pm to 11pm

Duties

* Operate and monitor various food production machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation

* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any malfunctions or safety hazards

* Maintain accurate records of production outputs, machine maintenance, and quality checks

* Follow strict food safety protocols, including HACCP guidelines, to ensure product integrity

* Assist with the setup and changeover of machinery during shift transitions

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with hygiene standards

* Support quality control processes by inspecting products for consistency and defects

Skills

* Experience in food production environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided

* Mechanical knowledge to understand and operate production equipment effectively

* Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks

* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

* Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues promptly
