IT Support Engineer

A well-established international manufacturing organisation is looking to add an experienced IT Support Engineer to its UK IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on technical role covering server support and some infrastructure, security, Microsoft technologies and end-user computing within a growing business.

You'll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organisation's IT environment, working across:

Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy)
Server, storage, backup and monitoring infrastructure
Server patching, security hardening and vulnerability remediation
Virtualisation technologies (VMware/vSphere)
Desktop and laptop support
Endpoint management and device support
Backup and disaster recovery processes
Technical documentation and asset management
BAU support and ticket resolution within agreed service levels.
If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LET'S TALK!

Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT Support Engineer role
Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
Experience with server administration and infrastructure support
VMware / vSphere / ESXi
Veeam Backup & Replication is advantageous but not essential.
Multi-site or remote user support
Working with international IT teams
