Description:
An excellent opportunity for a motivated Residential Site Engineer looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of exciting projects while developing their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

Reading, interpreting and communicating construction drawings to support site operations, including layouts, dimensions and material requirements.
Carrying out accurate setting out and surveying activities, ensuring precise lines, levels and reference points are established and maintained.
Monitoring project programmes and proactively supporting site progress to ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Coordinating subcontractors, materials and site activities to facilitate the smooth delivery of construction works.
Maintaining accurate site documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), as-built records and environmental compliance documentation.
Supporting the implementation and adherence to all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Building strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and colleagues while supporting and mentoring less experienced team members.
Keeping up to date with industry developments, best practices and technical guidance, sharing knowledge with the wider team where appropriate.
Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures and integrated management systems.
Undertaking any other duties relevant to the position of Site Engineer as required
Person:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
A minimum of five years' experience working as a Site Engineer, ideally within residential construction projects, with exposure to commercial developments being advantageous.
Strong numerical, technical and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
A full UK driving licence and relevant site certification/cards.
The ability to work to tight deadlines and positively influence project delivery.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A proactive approach, with the ability to use initiative and take ownership of projects from inception through to completion.
A strong commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
