This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious infrastructure projects while building a long-term career within the nuclear sector.
As an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of major MEP packages, supporting the successful delivery of complex mechanical and electrical installations from procurement through to final account. Working on a project of this scale will provide unrivalled experience, excellent career development, and exposure to one of the most technically advanced construction programmes in Europe.

* Prepare cost plans, valuations, forecasts, and final accounts.
* Administer subcontractor procurement, payments, and contract management.
* Manage variations, compensation events, and change control.
* Monitor project costs and provide accurate commercial reporting.
* Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams to support successful project delivery.
* Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
* Ensure commercial processes are followed while helping deliver the project safely, on programme, and within budget.
About You

* Experience in Quantity Surveying within MEP, mechanical, electrical, or building services projects.
* A solid understanding of cost control, contract administration, and commercial management.
* Experience managing subcontractor accounts and project valuations.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Experience working under NEC contracts is highly desirable.
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Previous nuclear experience is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in major construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or industrial projects who are looking to establish a long-term career within the nuclear sector.
What’s on Offer?
* The opportunity to work on Hinkley Point C, one of the UK’s largest nuclear construction projects.
* A competitive salary with a project salary uplift reflecting the scale and location of the role.
* Living Away Allowance for eligible candidates working away from home.
* Lodge Allowance to help cover accommodation costs during the project.
* Long-term project security with excellent career progression opportunities.
* Ongoing training and professional development within a growing nuclear business.
* A comprehensive benefits package and the chance to work alongside some of the UK’s leading engineering and commercial professionals.
