The Role – Wellbeing Support Worker – 20HPW or Bank
We are recruiting experienced Carers to join our Wellbeing Support Team. This role provides flexible, zero-hours work to support annual leave cover, sickness cover and increased client demand.
This position will be reviewed regularly and may lead to a permanent or full-time role as our client base grows.
You will support individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support
* Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and mobility support
* Promote emotional wellbeing, companionship, and independence
* Support medication in line with training and care plans
* Follow individualised care plans, risk assessments, and guidance
* Maintain accurate records and communicate concerns appropriately
* Uphold safeguarding, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in care is essential
* Home care / domiciliary experience preferred
* A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
* Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently in the community
* Right to work in the UK
No sponsorship available for this role.
DBS Requirements
Transferable Enhanced DBS preferred. If a transferable DBS is not held, the applicant will be required to fund the cost of a new Enhanced DBS, which will be processed by James Signature Care. The DBS fee will be refunded upon successful completion of the probationary period.
