This role requires a hands-on individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
* Cutting in roofs, dormers
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and finish products.
* Carry out painting and finishing work as required to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
* Engage in masonry work for structural support where necessary.
* Conduct heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials and equipment on-site.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
* Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Experience in joinery, painting, masonry, and electrical work is highly desirable.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
* Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
