Are you an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor looking for the opportunity to lead a team and influence long-term asset investment decisions?

Tristonenash are looking for an experienced Senior Stock Condition Surveyor to join the Assets Team of an affordable housing provider. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the stock condition survey programme, leading survey delivery, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, and providing technical expertise that supports investment planning, compliance, and asset performance across our housing portfolio.

You will:

Lead the delivery of stock condition surveys across a diverse property portfolio.
Manage, coach and support a team of Stock Condition Surveyors.
Ensure stock condition data is accurate, robust and maintained through effective quality assurance processes.
Produce schedules of work, specifications and technical drawings where required.
Undertake EPC assessments and ensure accurate data capture and submission.
Complete HHSRS assessments, disrepair inspections and prepare expert witness reports.
Provide specialist advice on building defects, building pathology and asset investment decisions.
Monitor contractor compliance with Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
Build positive relationships with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Champion excellent customer service and act as an ambassador for the organisation.
Respond flexibly to operational priorities and undertake additional duties appropriate to the role.

About You

You'll be a technically competent surveying professional with excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality asset management services.

Essential

Construction-related degree or equivalent qualification.
Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification.
HHSRS qualification.
Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.
Significant experience undertaking stock condition surveys and identifying building defects.
Excellent knowledge of building construction, maintenance and building pathology.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and manage multiple projects.

Desirable

Professional membership of RICS or CIOB.
Experience of PAS 2035.
P405 Management of Asbestos qualification.
SMSTS.
NEBOSH Construction or Health & Safety Management qualification.
Knowledge of Party Wall matters.
