Immediate Start
£60k - £75k Annual
Full-Time
What if you could shape a new performance media capability inside a specialist agency with global financial services clients already on the roster? This is a career-defining opportunity to define strategy, lead campaigns and prove what smart paid media can do in one of the most regulated, rewarding sectors.
Our client is an ambitious international agency partner built exclusively for financial services. They work with global asset managers, investment banks, wealth managers and financial advice brands from offices in London, New York and Asia. The team is close-knit, highly capable and deliberately flat-structured - so your ideas land fast and your impact is visible.
The Role
As Paid Media & Social Performance Lead, you will plan, activate, optimise and report across all core performance channels - LinkedIn, Google, Meta and programmatic - turning audience insight and media investment into measurable commercial outcomes for clients. You will work side by side with strategy, creative and client teams, with the autonomy to build best practice and the platform to present directly to senior client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute and continuously optimise performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn and programmatic channels, driving traffic, conversions and revenue through paid search, display, social and retargeting
Monitor and analyse key performance metrics - CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS - running A/B tests on creative, landing pages and ad formats to lift effectiveness and sharing actionable insights through clear client reports
Allocate, forecast and track marketing budgets to maximise ROI and meet KPIs, ensuring efficiency across every channel
Partner with strategy, creative and client teams to develop compelling campaigns and content tailored to target audiences, advising on audience journeys, CX best practice and content activation
Apply advanced audience segmentation techniques, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, LinkedIn Audience Builder, Meta Audience Insights and CRM data to tailor campaigns precisely
Stay ahead of platform updates, competitor strategies and emerging channels, experimenting with new tools to expand reach and improve performance
What You'll Need
Essential
Substantial agency-side experience in performance marketing (minimum eight years) with a strong track record of driving growth and ROI through paid media
Deep expertise across LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and programmatic advertising
Confident analytical skills using Google Analytics (Classic and GA4), Looker Studio and Excel to turn data into decisions
Thorough understanding of the social media landscape and content strategy - both organic and paid - with the ability to adapt approach for different platforms
Experience in financial services marketing, including media planning and social content strategy within a regulated environment
Commercial confidence to present complex media strategies and plans to clients, winning trust and demonstrating clear added value
Desirable
Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo or similar, plus familiarity with email platforms like Mailchimp
Working knowledge of SEO principles and how they complement paid strategies
Relevant platform certifications (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) and a BA in marketing, business or a related field
What's On Offer
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Company pension
Access to private healthcare
Discretionary, merit-based bonus
25 days' holiday plus an extra day for your birthday
Hybrid working from the London office
A flat-structured, sociable team with global clients and genuine freedom to make your mark
If you are an analytical, commercially sharp performance marketer who knows financial services and wants to lead a new agency capability, we'd welcome your application today.
