Are you a compassionate, positive, and proactive individual driven by the belief that every young person deserves a pathway to independence? We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our specialised educational team.

This role is perfect for experienced Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, or graduates (particularly in Psychology or Social Sciences) looking to build a rewarding career in special education-full training and continuous development are happily provided! You will work with a person-centred approach, acting as an essential anchor to help high-needs learners develop the key skills, self-care routines, and confidence they need to transition into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

Support high-needs students on a 1:1, in-class, or out-of-class basis to progress toward their EHCP milestones, developmental goals, and vocational aspirations.

Collaborate closely with teaching staff to differentiate and modify curriculum resources, including supporting students during active sessions and community-based trips.

Complete administrative responsibilities by recording support interactions constructively, helping the college maintain statutory records for EHCP annual reviews

Requirements:

Experience supporting young people (aged 16-25) with additional needs (such as ASD, SEMH, sensory, or learning difficulties) in an educational, healthcare, or community setting. We also warmly welcome applications from graduates with a strong interest in special education.
