Senior Maintenance Engineers
FMCG / Manufacturing / Food Manufacturing
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving production equipment. As an experienced engineers within the team, you will provide advanced technical expertise, lead complex fault-finding activities and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency and operational performance.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities across grading, packing and ancillary equipment.
• Lead complex electrical and mechanical fault-finding activities and support rapid breakdown resolution.
• Provide advanced technical expertise across grading machines, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and automated production equipment.
• Utilise specialist engineering expertise in areas such as robotics, automation programming, process control, and advanced manufacturing systems to optimise equipment performance.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement robust long-term solutions.
• Support the Shift Lead with the installation, commissioning and optimisation of new machinery and production systems.
Essential Qualifications
Apprentice-trained/time-served Engineer, or qualified to City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent standard in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
Food Safety Qualification Level 2
Current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations (C&G Level 3).
