We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school serving the Oldham and Tameside community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in reaching their full potential, working alongside experienced teachers to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to succeed.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils across the primary age range in the classroom.
* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
* Help deliver engaging activities that promote progress and confidence.
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Support children with additional learning needs where required.
* Assist with preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents to help every child achieve their best.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
* Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is patient, caring and adaptable.
* Works well as part of a team and uses their own initiative.
* Has experience working with primary-aged children (school or other relevant settings is desirable).
* Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
