CNC Machine Operative (Trafford Park)
Full Time, Permanent
M-F, 3 Shift Rotation (Inc nights)
Start People are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operative to work with one of our key engineering clients based in Trafford Park. This is a full time, permanent role.
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC machines (Programming is not essential but would be seen as an advantage).
You will need:
* Experience of Fanuc & Siemens controls
* Experience on Machining Centres / Vertical lathes & borers
* Ability to use measuring equipment ( Micrometers, Verniers etc)
* Understanding of tolerances and work to drawing requirements
* Ability to amend programmes using tool offsets
* Knowledge of G & M codes within a programme
Benefits include:
* Death in service scheme from day 1
* Option to join the pension scheme from day 1 – min 3% employee / 5% employer; salary sacrifice option / auto enrolment after 12 weeks · Option to join healthcare scheme (currently Bupa) after probationary period
* 25 days holiday per year (Jan to Dec); those joining part way through the holiday year accrue 2 days per complete month worked; bank holidays; Christmas shutdown – save 3 or 4 days holiday
* £36,000 per annum
