Senior Supply Chain Manager

We are now looking for a Senior Supply Chain Business Development Manager who will be leading implementation of the UK supply chain network strategy, and be a part of the UK Supply Chain Leadership Team. This position is based in Leeds (UK).

How you will make an impact

This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with strategy and business development directly with the UK SC Leadership Team and other senior leaders across the organization.

You areas of responsibilities include:

* Leading the development and implementation of the portfolio of strategic network projects for the UK supply chain network, working in tight collaboration with relevant stakeholders

* Leading the local process and governance for network strategy implementation and the annual business planning process for the UK end-to-end supply chain leadership team

* Executive support to the Senior Vice President of UK’s end-to-end supply chain which includes supporting in various presentations, advise on key business issues and managing the UK SC LT modus (e.g. owning the agenda and meeting practicalities)

You will report to the Supply Chain Strategy & Business Development Director and have a dotted line to the UK SC E2E SVP. You will be a full member of the UK SC Leadership Team. You will also become part of the Supply Chain Strategy & Business Development team and a part of our Strategy and Business Development department. The team has significant opportunities to truly impact our business, as we are working on the most critical strategic projects across the full value chain as well as having a strong focus on each members’ skills and career development journey.

What will make you successful

We are looking for someone who ideally has consultancy or business development experience combined with a solid educational background, probably within finance or business. In order to be successful in this role, we believe that you have a strong strategy & business development consulting toolbox (e.g. business case, structured problem solving and communication, project and program management skills). Experience and passion for supply chain would be an added bonus. Furthermore, you have excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel, and fluency in English is a must.

Your level of drive lies far above average, and your problem solving skills enable you to challenge the status quo and come up with ambitious solutions. At the same time, you get your energy from engaging with your team and stakeholders throughout the organization. As a team player, you are ready to collaborate across functions and levels of seniority. Finally, you are assertive and daring to speak up and challenge senior leaders when the need arises.
