Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1-1 Classroom Support to work within a school in Birmingham.

The role:

Provide focused 1:1 support to pupils in the classroom, helping them with their academic work as well as their emotional and social development.
Plan and deliver engaging, personalised activities that reflect each pupil’s abilities, interests, and individual needs, adapting materials whenever required.
Work effectively alongside teachers and other professionals across the school to ensure smooth and consistent support.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment, helping both pupils and staff when needed.
Keep up to date with each pupil’s routines and support requirements to promote a calm, stable, and consistent school day.

About you:

To be considered for the 1-1 Classroom Support role, you will:

Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
