Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner on behalf of a well-established global manufacturer and supplier of industrial goods. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has gained experience supporting a supply chain, procurement, or buying function and is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working closely with procurement, production, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials are available to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient stock levels and supporting the wider supply chain operation.

Qualifications

Essential:

Previous experience within a Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or Buying Support role
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across departments and with suppliers
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office packages

Desirable:

Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
Understanding of inventory planning and demand forecasting

Roles & Responsibilities

Support the planning and scheduling of materials to ensure production requirements are met.
Monitor inventory levels, raising purchase requisitions and liaising with suppliers to maintain continuity of supply.
Work closely with the procurement and buying teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Maintain accurate planning data, stock records, and supplier information within the ERP system.
Assist with demand forecasting and inventory analysis to optimise stock levels and minimise shortages.
Track supplier performance and follow up on overdue orders to minimise disruption.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Produce reports and analyse supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will also be expected to:

Be proactive, organised, and detail-oriented.
Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Take ownership of your workload while supporting the wider supply chain team.
Have a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within supply chain and planning.
