ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Qualified SEN Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition to children and young people with SEND across Buckinghamshire.
As a Qualified SEN Tutor, you will support pupils who may be out of education, awaiting specialist placements, or requiring additional support. Many learners have EHCPs and needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and anxiety-related school avoidance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to provide personalised support, build confidence, close learning gaps, and help pupils re-engage with education. Prospero Teaching will provide ongoing support throughout each placement.

Location: Buckinghamshire (HP postcode areas)
Position: Qualified SEN Tutor
Type of work: 1:1 SEN Tuition
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Contract type: Temporary
Hours: Part-time, 10-15 hours per week
Session length: 1-3 hours
Minimum rate of pay: From £25 per hour
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience working with SEND pupils
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or teaching in UK schools
Knowledge of EHCP targets and differentiated learning
Safeguarding training (desirable)
Experience with ASC, ADHD, SEMH or SpLD learners is advantageous
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
Provide two child-related references covering the last two years
Be able to travel to learner locations across Buckinghamshire
