Mechanical Project Manager
Location: London & South East
Salary: Competitive + package (DOE)
Type: Permanent
An established and well-regarded building services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use sectors.
This is a great opportunity to join a technically strong business with a solid project pipeline, a collaborative culture, and a reputation for delivering complex mechanical installations to a high standard.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to final handover, working closely with design teams, site teams, and clients to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities include managing programme, cost, quality, and safety, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, overseeing design development, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll also attend client meetings, manage variations, and support commissioning and handover processes.
About You
You’ll be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in building services. You should be comfortable running projects independently and dealing directly with clients.
A solid understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated services is essential. Experience working on projects in the £1m–£10m range (or similar) is preferred, along with strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
Relevant mechanical qualifications and SMSTS are expected, and a professional, organised approach is key.
What’s on Offer
This role offers long-term stability, exposure to technically interesting projects, and the chance to work within a supportive and experienced team. You’ll be given autonomy, trust, and the opportunity to progress as the business continues to grow.
A competitive salary and package are available, depending on experience
