SAP S/4HANA Training & Enablement Specialist | 12 months | Freelance | Open to EU only
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Training & Enablement Specialist to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme .
This role is ideal for someone who has led the training and user enablement workstream on SAP implementation projects. You will be responsible for ensuring business users are fully prepared to adopt the new SAP solution by designing and delivering an effective training strategy.

Required Experience
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Training & Enablement Specialist to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme .
- SAP Training & Enablement Specialist
- 12months + extensions (Go live 2028)
- Remote with travel to Germany (few days per month)
- Fluent in English
- German advantageous but not required
This role is ideal for someone who has led the training and user enablement workstream on SAP implementation projects. You will be responsible for ensuring business users are fully prepared to adopt the new SAP solution by designing and delivering an effective training strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall SAP training and enablement strategy.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify role-based learning requirements across the business.
- Design learning paths, training curricula, and detailed course syllabi for different user groups.
- Develop engaging, practical, and user-focused SAP training materials, including user guides, presentations, simulations, and digital learning content.
- Work closely with SAP Functional Consultants, Business SMEs, Change Management teams, and key business stakeholders to ensure training aligns with the final SAP solution.
- Lead and support training delivery, including classroom sessions, virtual training, workshops, and train-the-trainer activities where required.
- Drive the use of SAP Enable Now to create and maintain digital learning content.
- Support Digital Adoption initiatives using tools such as WalkMe (highly desirable).
- Ensure end users are fully prepared for Go-Live, driving business readiness and successful user adoption.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior SAP Training Consultant, SAP Enablement Specialist, SAP Training Lead, or similar role on large SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes .
- Strong experience defining SAP training strategies and leading the end-to-end training workstream.
- Hands-on experience conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and designing role-based learning programmes.
- Experience creating SAP training materials, user documentation, learning paths, and training curricula.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Enable Now .
- Experience with WalkMe or other Digital Adoption Platforms is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of Organisational Change Management (OCM) and user adoption best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluent English.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to operate at both strategic and delivery level.
