Engineering Surveyor

Engineering Surveyor (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis

Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications

Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have:

* Degree, Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying or Construction

* CSCS Card

* 3-5 years' experience in a surveying role within civil engineering

* Experience using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS and Laser Scanners

* Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, Leica Cyclone and Leica 3DR

* Understanding of QC1 procedures and quality documentation

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Experience on major infrastructure projects desirable

* Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance

* Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain survey control networks

* Carry out assurance and as-built surveys

* Produce laser scan models and survey reports

* Support engineering teams with setting out

* Develop machine control models

* Maintain survey records and QA documentation

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures

* Support successful delivery of MOD infrastructure works
