MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based just outside Newcastle, with their plans for growth and expansion, by recruiting a Panel Wirer to join their team. You will be joining a fast-paced, dynamic company, with an excellent team-based culture and huge opportunities to progress your career. Our client is a well-established player in their specialist sector in the North East and supplies its quality products and services nationally. The Job You’ll Do;

* Fit electrical components and electrical wiring

* Working from schematics and drawings.

* Fit, wire, build and assemble power distribution units

* Using hand tools and power tools

* panel testing and inspections to ensure compliance with manufacturing industry standards.

* Working closely with the production teams

* Adhere to risk assessments, method statements, and company safety procedures

* Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies

* Fault finding and repair

About You;

* Experience working with Single + Three Phase systems

* Previous panel wiring/electrical fitting or testing experience

* Hold an 18th Edition certification (desirable)

* Hold a recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, C&G 2391, HNC etc.) or equivalent experience

* Previous use and experience with hand & power tools

* Able to understand electrical drawings

* High level of attention to detail

* Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English

* Excellent attendance levels and attitude
