The Role
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring production processes run efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a complete production line or production sequence within a control room environment
Set up and control production programmes to meet operational requirements
Monitor production processes and key operating parameters
Carry out routine and specialised quality checks
Identify process deviations and take corrective action in line with established procedures
Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of production results
Liaise with maintenance teams regarding repairs and equipment performance
Provide guidance and support to manufacturing colleagues where required
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
Work on your feet for extended periods during shifts

Strong communication skills
Flexible and adaptable approach to changing production demands
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
Experience in a similar production operative role
Technical or mechanical aptitude
Experience working with production line machineryNo previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
