UK Staffing Group are currently recruiting for a Legal Case Audit Analyst to join a growing and FCA-regulated litigation finance business based in Liverpool.
This company funds law firms to run civil litigation cases, working in partnership with a panel of legal partners across the UK. The business is scaling up its operations to support ambitious growth plans over the next 2-3 years. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, confident individual to play a central role in protecting and strengthening the business as it grows.
You'll be responsible for auditing funded cases end-to-end, ensuring law firm partners are following agreed processes, and providing confident, well-evidenced challenge where needed.

What's On Offer?

£37,000 - £45,000 salary, depending on experience
Hybrid role
Close working relationship with senior leadership
Genuine influence over governance and risk processes as the business scales
Small, supportive and friendly team environment
Opportunity to shape audit processes within a growing FCA-regulated business
The Role

Conducting monthly and event-driven audits of funded legal cases
Reviewing case files end-to-end against agreed funding and process criteria
Verifying information and documentation submitted by law firm partners
Identifying discrepancies, exceptions and areas of risk
Monitoring portfolio performance, case progression and emerging trends
Supporting due diligence on law firm partners
Escalating material findings and potential issues to senior leadership
Liaising directly with law firm partners via email, calls and in-person meetings
Producing clear audit reports and presenting findings when requiredWhat We're Looking For

Genuine legal sector experience - ideally audit, compliance or case review experience gained within a law firm, or experience auditing law firms from a funding/lending background
Understanding of insolvency processes and how legal cases are valued and progressed through court
Confident, assertive communication style
Strong analytical and investigative skills with excellent attention to detail
Professional presentation and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders at law firms
A degree (not necessarily law-specific)Why Join?
This is a rare opportunity to take a leading role in the governance of a business at a genuinely exciting growth stage, backed by significant new investment. You'll work closely with senior leadership, have real influence over how risk and compliance processes evolve, and join a small, friendly team that supports each other and celebrates success together.
