Job Title: QC Senior Analyst
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

Job Role of the QC Senior Analyst

An excellent opportunity has become available for a QC Senior Analyst to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated environment.

This role offers the opportunity to join a growing Quality Control team, supporting laboratory operations, analytical testing, and compliance activities within a modern manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards while supporting junior team members and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting into the QC Supervisor, the QC Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing laboratory activities, overseeing analytical testing, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for:

Organising and managing daily laboratory activities and testing schedules.
Supporting the training, development, and assessment of junior laboratory staff.
Managing samples from receipt through to storage.
Carrying out and leading analytical testing of raw materials and finished products.
Troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory equipment when issues arise.
Ensuring all testing is completed accurately and within required timescales.
Reviewing analytical data, results, and documentation to ensure compliance.
Supporting investigations into unusual or failed results, including OOS/OOT investigations and deviations.
Managing stability studies and reference standards.
Supporting continuous improvement projects within the QC laboratory.
Working closely with wider teams and supporting site initiatives.

Previous experience working as a QC Analyst within a manufactuirng, production or packaging environment.

Desirable Requirements for the QC Senior Analyst

Experience working within a pharmaceutical or laboratory setting

The QC Senior Analyst Will Benefit From

Salary of £32,000 per annum.
Monday – Friday working pattern, 8:00am – 4:00pm.
28 days holiday allowance inclusive of bank holidays.
3% pension contribution on qualifying earnings.
